10 Pin Bowling and Pub Night
We could go to King Pin in Chelmsford and then go out to eat (or drink) afterwards. If not 10 Pin Bowling, it could be Shuffle Board or an Escape Room, for example?

Bring a Non-Cricket Friend: Softball Smash
Everyone would come with a friend or two who has never played cricket before (or not much anyway). We would play a tape-ball or softball game with music, food, and drinks. Everyone would bat with their non-cricket friend (assuming they want to!) and compete to get the highest score in pairs cricket.
